Pattoki Sugar Mills.

Pattoki Sugar Mills Limited is a Public Limited Company and was incorporated in 1975. The Company was established by Punjab Industrial Development Board to set up a sugar plant of 1500 M.Tonnes cane per day. The plant was supplied by M/S. Heavy Mechanical Complex Taxila, which was installed under the supervision of technical staff of M/S. HMC. The plant was commissioned in 1979. Keeping in view the prospectus another plant of 1500 M.Tonnes cane per day was added in 1984 and 3,500 M.Tons Cane per day was added in 2005.

Over the years due to growing demand of sugar in the local market, the management increased its capacity to 6,500 MT per day. During the year 2004-05, Pattoki Sugar Mills installed new steam turbine with a capacity of generating 6 MW to overcome widespread shortage of electricity.
